Yes. It's a life journey for me and I learned a huge lesson.
The point is, it's not the Devil talking to us, it's our emotions.
Ephesians 6:12-17 says that we are undergoing a spiritual war each and everyday.

Let the bible tell you, not me: the Devil is real and I am not attention seeking!!!
